Art is the most complex and beautiful thing that exists. It is my engine, it keeps me up at night, it makes me think and love.
Graduated from the famous Grekov Art School in her hometown of Odesa, Yulya Yalanzhi is a painter who has chosen to apply her talent to the design of lighting objects and to create her own brand — Yalanzhi Objects. Her creativity finds its expression in the handcraft of shades made out of papier-mâché that take inspiration from nature, adopting the shape of cocoons, flower buds ready to blossom, delicate corollas. The repetition of such hemispheric forms in modules of variable sizes also reminds of life reproduction, flowering or cell multiplication, the proliferation of nature.
