Kateryna Sokolova is an industrial designer who graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts in 2007 and completed her studies with an internship at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle in Germany.

Kateryna is the founder of Sokolova Design Studio and co-founder of the brand Noom, where she is creative director. Her multiple capabilities make it possible for her to tackle various fields simultaneously — furniture and lighting design, industrial
design, high tech design— and allows her to collaborate with companies like Jarre Technologie, with whom she has worked since 2011 on the development of high tech products.

Her designs have often received prizes and she won 1st Red Dot Design Award in 2015 for her speaker system Aero Twist.

Her work is internationally acclaimed, and she is working more and more for the European and Asian markets. Her creations are produced by Ligne Roset, Forestier, Palau, Woo, Normann Copenhagen, Cookoo watch, Lalique, etc.
