The NESAMOVYTE mirror from the new collection of ceramic mirrors and tables by Dovkola, inspired by the natural landscapes of the Carpathian region of Ukraine.
The mirrors, with their shapes and textures reminiscent of high-altitude lakes that reflect the surrounding world, leave a special impression of the infinity of nature.
The shape of the NESAMOVYTE mirror resembles the shape of Lake Nesamovyte, one of the highest high-altitude lakes in the Ukrainian Carpathians. The ecological situation at Lake Nesamovyte has reached a critical state, causing the lake to dry up, reducing and changing its shape. The inner part of the NESAMOVYTE mirror is small compared to the ceramic frame, emphasizing the threat of the picturesque mountain lake’s disappearance.
The bionic forms and natural colors of each of the three mirror models blend well in the interior and allow for the creation of unique combinations, also due to the mounting system that allows you to change the position of the mirror as you like.
All mirrors are completely handmade by Ukrainian craftsmen from chamotte clay and coated with enamel fired at 1200 degrees, so each mirror has its unique differences in enamel color. Each model is available in various natural palette colors.
