Designer Victoria Yakusha draws her inspiration from the ancestral culture and traditional craft of her native region, the Carpathian Mountains. SYTO is a reinterpretation of the sieve her grandmother would use to sift flour before baking her weekly pastries. This large disk in perforated metal, one meter in diameter, lacquered in white or gray, is circled by a thin wooden frame. It is a tribute to her ancestress and to her vivid childhood memories. Thanks to its size, its minimalistic spirit and its seamless finishing, this reimagined sieve is clearly a modern piece of wall decoration.
